Splotch! Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 5, 2026

This policy explains how the mobile game Splotch! Slide & Paint Puzzle (the "App") handles your information.

Summary

We (Metawe Lenool Studios) do not collect, store on our own servers, or sell any personal information. The game has no accounts. It can send anonymous gameplay statistics (no identifiers, see below), which you can turn off. On Android, the App shows optional rewarded ads from Google AdMob and offers an optional one-time purchase through Google Play. Those Google services process some data as described below.

Advertising on Android

If you choose to watch an ad to earn a hint, the ad is provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, approximate location (derived from your IP address), app interactions and diagnostic information to show, measure and improve ads and to prevent fraud. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland (and where otherwise required) you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. The App only requests ads suitable for general audiences. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Purchases

The optional "Unlock everything" purchase is processed entirely by Google Play under Google's privacy policy. We never receive your payment details; the App only learns whether the purchase is owned.

Anonymous gameplay statistics

To help us design better levels, the App can send anonymous statistics about each level attempt to our own server (hosted on Cloudflare). This covers the level played, whether it was completed, moves, par, stars, time spent, and the number of undos, restarts and hints used, plus the app version and platform. It contains no names, accounts, device identifiers or advertising IDs, and while Cloudflare necessarily processes your IP address to deliver each request, our statistics database never stores it. The data is only used in aggregate (for example, the average moves per level). This is on by default. You can turn it off at any time in Settings → Share anonymous stats; doing so also deletes any statistics not yet sent.

Information stored on your device

The App saves your game progress on your device only: stars, best move counts, hint count, daily streak and sound settings. This saved data stays on your device (apart from Android's own device backup, if you've turned it on, which Google manages under its privacy policy). The separate anonymous statistics described above are the only gameplay data that is sent anywhere. You can erase this data at any time with Settings → Reset progress in the App, or by uninstalling it.

Permissions

The App uses the Vibrate permission for optional haptic feedback (you can turn it off in Settings). On Android it also uses Internet, Network state and Advertising ID access, which are used for the optional ads and purchases and for the anonymous gameplay statistics.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
